Lotus Temple is the place of worship for the followers of Bhai Faith in India. This is an beautifull piece of architecture constructed in Delhi. The shape of the Building Resembles a bud of the lotus flower opening out. Since a lotus is found in water thus water pools have been provided on all the sides of the temple. The building interior is kept cool by creating a natural air circulation wherein the air travels into the building after flowing over the cool water surrounding it. Light travels into the temple through openings created in between the opening petals which gives you a heavenly feeling while sitting in it.

Construction of the Temple
The construction of this majestic edifice has a spherical dome with an aesthetic design of the lotus flower. The interior dome is like a bud containing 27 petals, the light filter through these inner folds and is dispersed throughout the hall. Nine open petals, each of which functions as a skylight, hold the central bud. Petals project outward form marquee over the nine entrances. The nine entrance petals complete the design are contrived in white marble and white concrete. The external brilliance is compiled to create an impression of lotus structure floating upon water and not clasped to its foundation, by consolidated the glistening light on the petals.
